ELLIOTT TRIPLES AT REMINGTON PARK THURSDAY

Oklahoma City, OK, August 28, 2025  – Jockey Stewart Elliott made a power move to get back to the top of the rider standings on Thursday, August 28 at Remington Park. The veteran posted a riding triple to climb into a share for the lead in the local colony.

Elliott won the first race of the night, riding Scouser ($8.20 to win) to his maiden-breaking victory. Scouser is owned by Clark Brewster of Tulsa, Okla. and is trained by Steve Asmussen.

The successful evening continued in race three with Elliott aboard Beachya ($3.80) for owner and trainer Steve Martin of Morrison, Okla.

The Elliott hat trick was completed in the 10th and final race Thursday as Elliott brought Compendium ($5) home to break her maiden status. The 3-year-old filly is owned by Winchell Thoroughbreds of Las Vegas and trained by Asmussen.

Thursday was the third time in the first nine dates of this Remington Park season that Elliott has put up a trio of victories. The effort gives him 15 wins for the season and moves him into a tie atop the standings with David Cabrera.

The first stakes races of the season take place Friday night with the Oklahoma Stallion Handicap for fillies and the Oklahoma Stallion Handicap for colts and geldings.
